In 2022, a team of Kenyan nurses, clinical instructors, and software developers sat in a nursing school office in Nairobi — surrounded by thousands of printed placement letters, Excel sheets, and lost logbooks.
One instructor spent 3 full weeks every semester just typing introduction letters and chasing supervisors for signatures. Students were delayed starting placements. Hospitals were frustrated. Everyone was exhausted.
That day, we made a promise: “This should not be this hard.”
